this novel are blasphemy of literature of Chinese web novel glorifying victorian culture too much no wonder the novel is been dropped sigh
a bit unsatisfied with the romance. based on my understanding, the FL was trying to get out of her family's influence and live an independent life. but, she ended up marrying the MC, which she doesn't love (at least until the marriage night). she eventually loves him, but I still pity her, because her everyday life now is just like ordinary housewife, she doesn't have passion or jobs, she just lives her life serving her husband. what happened to the independent life that she dreamt about?
anyway, I think it's a great novel because I love "cultural invasion in a different world". the difference is, "cultural invasion in a different world" has a greater plot happening behind it, maybe that's why it has more chapters than this.
