all roads lead to one goal, so why is cultivating immortals so good, it takes lot of time and great talent. even their combat effectivness is not as good as dragon ball's qi training. what is it being able to control heaven and earth, real protagonist create worlds of their own or devour other's worlds
Well practicing ki in dragon ball wont make you live longer than ordinary human, although Master Roshi is hundreds years old that because of the elixir. And dragon ball Ki is weird because most of them just enhance physical strength and Ki Wave (idk whats it is called anyway like kamehameha)

controlling laws and becoming immortal is good, but based on fact that there is basically real time, fate, destiny and detachment what kind of thing do mortals like us should experience, mortality is good for masses as there is progress and no person can rule over others forever making people have chance for having better life. in The Sage Who Transcended Samsara which immortal is a good thing? i would rather be mortal and have my race progress by majority than let a single person be one and only. dragon ball is bad example as it has elements of jade emperors(zeno) and assigned immortals(gods of destruction, angels, kamis) as well as demonic beings(demon gods)
