This sweet, sunny brother like. I don't like. this story might not been like by me. Cuz I like where ml possessive or where he blacken or something. So who like sweet not aggressive u can read it.
i really like it , it has an interesting perspective when teh main characters are kids. there are adult matters in the background that they dont fully understand but the reader would understand the seriousness of the matter. came to comment just because of chapter 33 where a 7 year old roomate said her mother said if she wins the olympics then her father will like her. mc being 9, didnt understand the implication but cheered her on. there a ton of other moments that fly over the characters head since she is so young and doesnt participate in adult matters but the adults in the back ground have alot of unseen activity and their little actions and expressions say alot without being totally described and spoonfed to readers. there was also a buttler with a relative with chicken pox who gave an infected blanket to the ml, causing him to have to go to the hospital , only to steal his expensive chicken pox medicine, only to have the kids notice the medicine is missing thus causing him to be arrested. its all so subtle and in the background as the adults handle all the matters while the kids are just there being kids since they dont have power or awareness to handle anything themselves yet. the matters really are casually mentioned in passing but a reader would focus more o it since its a serious matter we would put attention on. this novel really has great story telling skills. read it just to appreciate the talent of the author if anything. dont get me wrong, there are events in the background but its a pretty peaceful read imo.
updating this now that i finished the read. the first third of the book is great and interesting. the later half is more dull. no exciting events after the kidnapping. its a peaceful read if anything and almost slice of life feel.
