I quite liked this story and its plot. Despite not being that great, I must admit that I wasn't expecting that plot twist and tbh I find it a little confusing, although idk if it's bc I'm missing neurons (LOL) or bc the translation isn't vg 😕. It was a fairly light read and personally there were no complications other than understanding the timelines. *SPOILER ALERT* ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ From what I understood, is that after GXZ died in his fl (that is when he was a police officer 20 years ago) because of the traffickers and then dice were made w his bones, these were used to bet on ghosts and then go on to become the destiny. Thus, the General Secretary (who if I'm not mistaken is Si Yu) inherited GXZ's belief that "good and evil are reported" (implying that SY comes from dice or something, idk guys TT) and replaced to "Sky" (which suggests why he wants to kill SY), this also explains the reason that if CXZ did not die, SY would not exist. Now, "Sky" could not assassinate SY in a simple way due to years later but with false memories of what he was before),It was obviously nagi bro 🐒
When Gu Xizhou was gonna die, everybody will also die? I think this is a sign of the yandere ML. The first clue is the girl with prop Pen Fairy, where it directly written Gu Xizhou's name. Its gradually revealing things of our why's.

On chapter 48 now and so far have yet to see the promised yandere gong lol. Still reading because I want to see more interaction between the possible ML and MC. They totally have a Lan/Wei Ying relationship going on it seems! Also kind of ship OG Gu/Demonic Cultivator! I hope the demonic cultivator gets his original body back and that we finally have a name for him!
