1. After reading chapter 215, skip straight to chapter 218 otherwise you will be confused at the sudden shift in the story. Ch. 216&217 were incorrectly posted ahead of time and they are actually ch. 226&227.

Just finished ch 22.. so this book has a similar setting as “ Farming Space: The Lucky and Lovely Lady Come to Farm” except the FL in that book is a transmigrator that had just a couple weeks of planning but alot of money and previous life hacks/equip (aka gvns & gr3n@des). That story also starts right when she figures out she ended up in that time period to start planning. I really loved that story. This story is a little bit different. The FL is a regressor and has years to plan. This story starts off in the middle of the journey escaping famine and they’re really not struggling at all thanks to the FL planning, and they can even have petty internal struggles compared to outsider refugees bc of FL. We get told a sentence here and there in each chapter of her preparation moves, as well as tea on past grudges and how they ended up as refuges instead of the status they’re supposedly are. My only critique is that I prefer this style of storytelling in movies and in books/novels I’m greedy for wanting huge multi chapter arcs dedicated solely to the preparation/beginning of journey and I don’t want to be patient in how we are being told this information. Also, maybe I’m influenced by the other story but so far, if there is romance in this story (I didn’t check tags before reading), I don’t really want her to end up with the current potential ML. Love him and her but they’re more first love and not endgame romance. I really like it so far and will maybe update my thoughts the more I progress in reading. So far a solid 8/10 starting.

3. It's this refugees or just a trip excursion? They have different foods to eat everyday, there's wine, candies, birthday cakes 😂😂😂. There's a lot of drama when they should be so worried about the situation in the country and have no time to make personal little dramas. I mean, it's not a bad book, just to many unrealistic things.

4. In the first two chapters it is established that the fl is a villainous murderous psychopath. If this is how you like your leads, this seems to be the story for you. For me, i will give it a pass.

5. FL was acting like that because of special circumstances. They were running for their lives while surrounded by hungry refugees, she HAD to act as ruthless as possible. One thing I like about this story is that people are not 2 dimensional character, they have real reasons to do what they do, they can learn from mistakes and grow up, and it shows how much grief can affect you. Usually the antagonist are these dumb people who does things without a good reason and are incapable of learning from their mistakes so I found Lin Yue’s growing path particularly enjoyable. She started as a annoying fragile character focused only on love to someone who learned from her mistakes and became a good person and a good friend to the protagonists. I haven’t finished it yet, but I liked this part of the story.
