Too much bullshit. First he is not even a noble descent because he pretending to be someone and commanding that deceased person's army, and yet he still insist of on investing in that army that he didn't even own. People around him are dumb, in the war time, they can't even recognize who is their commander. MC literally just wore the commander's armor and viola, people around him obey him because yeah, dumb army. I feel like no matter how he invest resources in that "army" that he doesn't own, it will be surrendered to the kingdon at the end. Or the author will go ape shit and write it like a fcking degenerate human he is. Based on the premise, MC shouldn't have tried to be general and instead starts as a soldier and climb the ranks. The author is too lazy to write an interesting premise and just gave the MC ready made army, that is dumb enough to believe that the MC is their general
