1. I was appalled by the comment below saying that the short stories AKA the secrets/background of the owners of treasures are the con of the novel, WTF it's through tracing the root cause that he was aware about the things around him he's in especially when he's too cautious.It's the author's way to fix/compensate the "shut in" cliché. Example when he planned to go to other small worlds, through appraising treasures from other worlds he knew the background and strengths of the world's, it's a useful feature on his system. Maybe it's not everyone's cup of tea because of low-key/cautious MC and revolves around treasures but it's a very unique novel with it's own charm. Tell me the novels with the same concept as this one, I'll wait.

2. I would recommend to not waste time reading this novel. Although the story and the overall plot is okay, few story decisions make it not worth a read. The worst con of this novel is the ridiculous number of random short stories that are included which don't really matter. Like there is atleast one short story every two-three chapters. Sometimes it's short story after short story for a few chapters. These short stories are basically useless, they are not interesting as they are just some random sob story events merged together on some random one off characters. These were somewhat skipped in the beginning and only relevant short stories which time into the main plot were shown. But as the chapters went on the author became lazy.

3. The author even states that people are not liking it but he can't do anything about it. The second worst reason is the mc. He is too kind. He keeps forgiving people who keep trying to kill him despite being extremely strong. This keeps dragging things as the people he forgives again try to harm him and he doesn't do anything once more. Also there is barely any fighting going on. I read one fourth of the novel and the mc fights like once. Not i don't have a problem with this. But see everytime our mc does an identification he gets a treasure and we get a stupid short story and a treasure description. The short story is just word vomit as I said before. Now since our mc never uses these treasures/skills they too are useless. So their descriptions are also word vomit. So essentially almost 80-90 percent of this novel is just pointless. He knows that he is being very limited in his little shop and has the capital to get out of it. But he never does.
