Should this be Sidonia no Kishi fanfic ? I maybe tag and genre fanfic could add to this.
For those interested, the novel is about a young boy who flees his planet as aliens attack. As he continues to flee, he is accompanied and guided by Phantom(?), an artificial light-brain left behind by his deceased mother. He joins the crew of the Hiponi, a ship fleeing the incoming aliens just like him, and struggles with them for survival. Aliens in the novel are comprised of three species: 1. Aliens from the movie Aliens, 2. Qijuzi(?) most likely the Chinese translation for Gauna from Sidonia no Kishi, and 3. Some zerg-like species from an unknown source, with the ability to manifest force fields (mtl'ed as AT fields).
For those who are reading: from which chapter do things start to get better? I started to read, but the chapters seem a bit monotonous to me... so I wanted to get an idea to decide whether to read it or not.
